Relief from migraine headaches

I had spent more than 16 years with migraines when my mother put me through the Silva Method.

I was going to the doctor at least once a month. He tried various medications, some of which were very powerful, but was unsuccessful in finding relief for my migraines.

There were times when the migraines were so intense that I could only stand in a corner leaning against the wall praying for them to go away. Lying down or sitting only intensified the pain.

Sometimes, after leaning in the corner for hours, I would collapse from exhaustion. It would be several days after the attack before I was back up to my full strength.

Gained some control

After learning the Silva Method, it took me several months to gain complete control over the migraines. Using the Silva Method, I was able to shorten and ease them immediately.

Meanwhile, my mother could stop them using her programming skills. If I had to leave a message on her answering machine, I knew when she had returned and was at level because the migraine would leave.

The answer finally came at level during a migraine:

Focus on the goal

I was focusing on the pain and not "feeling fine." When I changed the focus to "I feel fine. Let it go," that migraine stopped.

After that, when I felt a migraine coming on, I simply went to level using the 3 to 1, 10 to 1 method, went to my ideal place of relaxation and said, "I feel fine. Let it go," and the migraine could no longer come into being.

Needless to say, I have been migraine-free for several years now.

No more medicine

As an added bonus, the money saved in doctors' bills and medicines quickly paid my husband's way through the Basic Lecture Series. Ultimately, I could say that these savings paid both our ways through the Silva 2-day Graduate and Ultra Seminars as well.

Those who have never experienced a migraine headache cannot fully appreciate the excruciating agony that accompanies an occurrence and, consequently, these individuals may not consider migraine mastery a truly notable victory.

As a former sufferer, however, I can state unquestionably that developing the ability to prevent such torment from entering my reality has emphasized the basic principle of the Silva Method by making my life better and better.

Some background: I was run over two and a half years ago, complete with being in a coma. I was in intense pain (with headaches that I was told that I would have the rest of my life, as well as back and leg pain) and the brain was pretty well shot.

My Neurologist and Neuro-Psychologist both recommended that I start meditating. I had done this years ago, but had fallen out of practice and could not get the hang of it again.

I stumbled on the book Jose Silva's UltraMind ESP System "by accident" and I read it.

Suddenly, things started to click.

It is not an overnight thing. One has to follow the simple instructions which include an easy 40 day program.

I was soon able to walk again, and within 6 months, was able to return to practicing medicine.

I have advanced even further, moved back to my old home town where I can be close to my father, and am happier than I have been in years.

Now back to the ESP thing:

I have found that most of the time that I am able to figure out my patients diagnosis when I first walk into the room and look at them. Of course, I still get x-rays and lab work to confirm the diagnosis, but I would say that I have a correct diagnosis in about 90% of the cases.

How this happens, I cannot tell for sure, but it has made me get some extra tests that confirmed a diagnosis when I got a feeling that I should, even though the patient did not complain of symptoms. I am not confident enough to base my practice on it yet, but it has been a great advantage.
